He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwillia Phillips Carter and Russell (Monna Phillips); and his grandparents, Ira and Marie Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Becky Phillips; his children, Rhonda Roodhouse (Kevin), Robyn Schumaker (Rob) and Bob Phillips (Ashley); his grandchildren, Nick, Kyle, Abby, Kaylee, Charley and Hank; and his siblings, Rick Phillips, Joan Staples, Carla Scroggins and Peggy Ballard. He is also survived by family the love of his life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Scott County Nursing Home in Winchester, IL or Youngblood Baptist Church.
