She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul Flynn and Dochia Long Flynn; her husband Donald McNeely; her daughter Jeanne Bruner (Robert) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Adam Bruner, Abby Bruner and Lauren Bruner; her sister Carol Albert (William) of Millstadt; her sister-in-law Alice Spradlin of Jacksonville; and her sisters, Lucy Bote and Eleanor Marquard. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Jacksonville Public Schools Foundation or Grace United Methodist Church.
