With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger R. Staake of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on February 27, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Staake and Roberta L. "Bert" Staake (Carls) of Meredosia; his brother-in-law Richard W. Gerecke; his foster sister Joyce Albers; and his niece Nichole Donofrio.
He is survived by: his sisters, Pat Gerecke of Jacksonville and Sandy Brady (James) of Chatham; his foster sister Cheryl Campbell (Curt) of Meredosia; and his nieces and nephews, John Devlin, Lori Devlin, Tyler Brady, Kaci Brady, Melanie Scheafer, Danielle Almeter and Daniel Albers.
Memorial donations are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church or Meredosia Rescue Squad.
