She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Franklin and Helen Elizabeth Tucker Weller; her husband John C. Waltrip; her sons, William Timothy and Charles Earl Waltrip; her son-in-law David Sexton; and her brother Harold Weller.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Waltrip (Jo Ellen) of Punta Gorda, David Waltrip (Tara) of Weldon Spring and Caren Waltrip Sexton of Jacksonville, Illinois.; and her siblings-in-law, Gale Waltrip (Bonnie) of Jacksonville and Sue Weller of Valparaiso. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, a step grandchild and ten great grandchildren.
