She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frederick William "Bill" and Frieda Fahlbusch Lakamp; her husband Melvin Dufelmeier; her daughters, Betty Schmoldt (Bill) of Des Plaines and Barbara Davenport (Warren) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Emily Dufelmeier Nixon (Josh) of Potomac and Brian Davenport (Kayla Perkins) of Jacksonville; her great grandchild Jessica; and her brother Frederick Lakamp (late Jo) of Chapin. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Faith Lutheran Church.
