She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Green and Bertha Green (Cardwell); her husband Charles Cook; her children, Donald Cook (late Melanie) of Jacksonville, Larry Cook (Norma), Lana Cotter (Lanny Hoots) of Jacksonville and Rebecca Stocker (James) of Arcadia; her grandchildren, Charlie Cook, Tara Haney (Jeff), Christoper Cook (Sarah), Mandy Jo Cook, Lucas Cotter (Lindsey James) and Jacklyn Sue Becker (Reece); her siblings, Juanita Green, Ralph Green, Velma House, Reva Surratt, Glenna Cochran and Dick Green; and her sister-in-law Gracie Cook Fearneyhough. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Liberty Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Liberty Cemetery or Cass Schuyler Area Hospice.
