He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miles F. Fitzpatrick and Lena M. Maloney Fitzpatrick; his daughter Michelle York of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Dominick York and Zander York; and his siblings, Alicia Craigmiles (late Ronnie) of Springfield, Mary Ellen Gordon (late Bob) of Springfield, Marlena Hayes (Patrick) of Chicago, John Fitzpatrick and Miles Patrick Fitzpatrick. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Our Saviour (500 E State St, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested for masses or to Routt Catholic High School.
