It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verlee Ann Edwards of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Brooks and Esther Brooks (Bentzinger); her husband William Edward "Bill" Edwards; her grandson Josh Collings; and her siblings, Herbert Brooks, Elton Brooks, Irene Fremin and Ethel Lindell.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Collings (Bob) of Jacksonville and Scott Edwards (Christine) of Macomb; and her grandchildren, Darron Collings (Meghan) of Jacksonville, Katie Rohne (Rick) of O'Fallon, MO, Brittney Kugler of Macomb and Kellsi Litwiller (Marty) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
