She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Richard Fourtune and Dorothy Woodson; her husband Ned N. Jackson; her son Ned R. Jackson; and her brothers, Carl, Walter and William Fortune.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Renata Jackson; her sisters, Vickie Fortune and Dorothy Covington; her grandchildren, Jovonya Seay (Jacques Seay II) and Ronesha Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Tyron, Ja'Neisseya, Jacques III, Javontez and Ra'Niya.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Emory Baptist Church (426 S Church St, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
