He is survived by: his wife Ann Griswold; his children, Craig Griswold, Steven Griswold (Robin) of Merriam, Kansas and Sherry Mansur (Anthony) of Jacksonville, Illinois; his daughter-in-law Emily Griswold; his grandchildren, Madison, Peyton and Violet; and his siblings, Norm Griswold of Lincoln, Mary Keefer (Jim) of Lawrence, Ginny Fearing of Aldergrove, British Columbia, Cathy Griswold of Longmont and Steve Griswold (Kathy) of Bozeman, Montana. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buchanan & Cody Funeral Home (1100 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a fund for his grandchildren, in care of Ann Griswold.
