He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nunes and Dorothy Allen Nunes; his wife June Loughary; his niece Lynnette Parson (Dan) of Macomb; and his siblings, Charlie Nunes, Harriett Printy, Mary Bryant and Mae Couch.

He is survived by: his close friend Pat Little; his children, Connie Mueller (Neil) of Bluffs, Karen Ladely (late Stuart Splain) of South Jacksonville, Paula Beckman (Henry) of Jacksonville Deceased and Charles Nunes (Kim) of New London, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Jeff Mueller, Troy McDade, Gina Rosenberger, Gera Martin, Cheryl Bauser, Jenny Buchanan and Andy Nunes. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
