He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. Hayes and Angela Hayes (Stroer); his sister Virginia Desmond (Hayes); his brother-in-law Thomas Desmond; and his cousins, Eugene Hayes and Jeanne Rheinecker (Ed).
He is survived by: his nieces, Tracy and Mona (John); his nephew Tom (Heather); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alex (Lindsey), Max, Breigh and Kayleigh; his cousins, Judy (Jim) and Tom; Addyson and Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ann Church (101 Raddle Church Ln, Jacob, IL 62950). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
