Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Martin Saupe of Jacob, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 95, on December 8, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Saupe and Erna Saupe (Roth); his wife Rose Mary Cochran; and his brother Ruben. He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Korando (Dale) of Jacob, Janice Crain (Robert) of Ava and Paula Vogel (Jim Hand) of Murphysboro; his grandchildren, Nichole Smelter (Craig), Adam Korando (Cassie), Shannon Rieckenberg (Cody), Kimberly Korando (Steven Mikel), Corinne Vogel (Stephanie), Harley Hand (Olivia), Brandon Crain (Amelia) and Benjamin Vogel; his great grandchildren, Grace, Sophie, Thatcher, Berklee, Ryan, Emmett, Carter, Carsyn and Hudson; and his sister Ruth Boese of Murphysboro. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (184 W Jacob Rd, Jacob, IL 62950). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
