We are sad to announce that on July 15, 2023, at the age of 91, Ethel J Margeson of Jerseyville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Burch and Elizabeth Burch (Turner). She is survived by : her husband Darriell Margeson; her siblings, Margaret Smith (Burch), Joyce June, Robert Lee and Gilbert Randall Burch; her granddaughter Amanda Crystal-Decker; her children, Ethel and Randy; her daughter-in-law Judy Margeson of Elsah; her daughter Karen Sue Decker of Granite City; her great grandchildren, Kevin Margeson (Leighann), Brad Decker (Monica), Danny Margeson (Lauren), Brett Decker (Ann) of Granite City, Kimberly Phillips (Jared), Bryan Decker (Britney) and Brenda Arnaud (Joe); her sister Mary Darr of Jerseyville; her sisters-in-law, Joann Byland of Carrollton, Margaret Palmer of Dow and Joan Brannan of Jacksonville; and also, Aria of Springfield, Illinois, Jackson, Kane, Kaia of College Station, Texas, Noah, Coraline of Elsah, Tanner, Kinley of Humble, Texas, Frankie, Winnie of Hanahan, Lena, JoAnna and Joey of Canyon Lake, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Jerseyville First United Methodist Church.
