He is survived by: his wife Betty Quinn; his children, Lisa Toohey (Todd Petry) of Jerseyville and David Godar (Sue Moody) of Lebanon, TN; his siblings, Delores Fuhler of Brussels, Marilyn Fuhler of Brussels and Roger Godar (Patricia) of Bethalto; and his grandchildren, Kelsey Grate (Kevin) of O'Fallon, MO., Jessica Northrup (Tyler) of O'Fallon, MO., Madeline Toohey (Alex Jezik) of Florissant, MO., Maeve Toohey of Sneads Ferry, NC. and Matthew Toohey (Elam) of Florissant, MO.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Jerseyville American Legion Post 492.
