It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Parsell of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Peter and Catherine Parsell, Sr. (Stephenson); his wife Connie Sue Morrison; and his siblings, John Stuart Parsell, William Parsell, Richard Parsell, Stuart Peter Parsell, Jr., Ruth Virginia Parsell and Doris "Dodie" Meyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Clara Christie (Robert) of Jerseyville and Julie Parsell (Chad Roach) of Richmond Heights, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Cooper Roach of Bloomington, Tara Assi of Los Angeles, Sami Assi (Katrina) of Cleveland, Talia Assi of Silverthorne and Grace Assi of Lafayette, Colorado..
Memorials may be given to Evelyn's House, in care of Crawford Funeral Home, who has been entrusted with arrangements.
