It is with sadness that the passing of Gustav Blumenberg (Jerseyville, Illinois) is shared. Gustav, born on April 26, 1945, passed away on August 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blumenberg and Alvina Blumenberg (Meyer); his wife Virginia Jackson; his son Terry Blumenberg; his siblings, Gerald, Mickey Blumenberg, Sandra Howard and Peggy Ash; and his parents-in-law, Keith and Grace Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy McAdams (Pat) of Carrollton, Kevin Gress of Hamburg and Wendy Rives of Jerseyville; his siblings, Joyce Blumenberg of Kampsville and Lindell; and his sister-in-law Holly Blumenberg of Haypress. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Tri County Honor Guard.
