Helen Brown Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 13, 2026, at the age of 86, Helen Brown (Jerseyville, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her significant other Kenneth Norman Brown; her sons, David Kenneth Brown and Stephen Roland Brown; her grandsons, Bradley Dugger and Jordan Boomershine; her great grandchild Jourdan Brown; her brother Lonnie McGiffen; her parents-in-law, Norman and Carrie Brown; her brother-in-law Robert Brown; and her aunt Ruth Heitzman (McGiffen).

She is survived by: her daughter Deborah; her children-in-law, David Meyer of Godfrey, Kayla McGuire (Dave) of Jerseyville and Cynthia Simpson (James) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Emily Granzow (Daniel), Jeremy Meyer (Lisa), Kristin Needs (Forrest), Danielle Baker, Derrick Brown (Kimmi), Cody Brown (Katie), Dalton Brown (Mikaila), Brooke Luna, Dane McGuire, Lindsey Boomershine and Mason Boomershine; her sisters, Charlene Morgan and Judy Kallal; and her sister-in-law Nancy Brown. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, a few great grandchildren; and two cousins.

Memorials may be given to the First Assembly of God in Jerseyville.
