It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Morey (Jerseyville, Illinois), who passed away on April 10, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Morey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva May Edelen (Gottlob) and Francis Edelen; her stepfather Gus Fuller; her son Ryan Edelen Morey; her granddaughter Isabella Elizabeth Seets; her great grandchild Brooks Cannania; her siblings, Mary Louise Corby, Gertrude Hedrick, Donald Ralph Edelen and Frank Edelen; and her son-in-law Bernie Steck.

She is survived by: her children, Randi Steck of Jonesboro, Brad (Mary Morey) and Tracie Morey Bock (Lee Vahle); her stepson Jeff Morey of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; and her grandchildren, Becky (Jeremy Wheaton), Morgan (Eric Canania), Marcus (Bailey Morey) and Christopher Morey of Georgia. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Restore Network, in care of the funeral home.
