He is survived by: his wife Charlene Schultz of Jerseyville; his children, John J., Kim Schultz (Test) of Pittsfield, Beth (Schultz), Steve White (Matthew) of Jerseyville and Karrie Schultz (Schulte) of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Christa Dunsing (Bridgewater), Jennifer Bridgewater, Kaity McPherson (Schultz), Johnny Schultz, Logan Schultz, Jackson Schultz, Dayton Varble, Maebre Varble, Keegan Varble, Scarlett Schultz and Stella Schultz; his great grandchildren, Brynn Lucille Dunsing, Brock Michael Dunsing, Ryhs McPherson and Ret McPherson; and his grandchildren, Lenny and Maxine Somers of Jerseyville.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given to St. Francis/Holy Ghost Catholic School or to Jersey Community High School Boys Baseball.
