She was predeceased by: her parents, George McGiffen and Freda McGiffen (Gibbs); her husband Carl E. Rodgers; her daughter Carla Long; her granddaughter Jeannie Richardson; her sister Alice Crull (McGiffen); her son-in-law Wallace Morgan; and her grandson-in-law Ed Willard.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Simms of Morton; her grandchildren, R. Michael Simms of Morton, Cori Simms of Morton, Mary (Robert "Peto"), Tabbie Morgan of Fieldon, Kimberly (Jesse Doran) of Kentucky, Markee Richardson of Kentucky, Jackie Willard of Kentucky and Justin Huett of Kentucky; her caregiver Mary Ann Rodgers; her daughter Ginger Morgan; and her grandchildren, Robert "Peto", Devon, Elsie Eden and Chloe Lott.
Memorials may be given to the Faith Temple Pentecostal Church or to BJC Hospice.
