With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Morris Eugene Gross (Jerseyville, Illinois), who passed away on May 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lee and Rosalind Fay Gross (Rintoul). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gross of Godfrey; his daughter Christine; his son-in-law Dennis Thomas of Godfrey; his son Tyler; his daughter-in-law Amy Gross of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Kelsey Swan (Aaron) of O'Fallon, Sam Thomas (Katie) of Maplewood and Audrey Gross of Wake Forest; his great grandchildren, Valerie and Luke; his sister Judy; and his brother-in-law W. Kay Schultz of Godfrey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Dysautonomia International or to Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services, in care of the funeral home.
