He was predeceased by: his parents, N. L. Fitzgerrell and Velda Fitzgerrel-Boston (Jenkins); his children, Mary Michelle and Kendell Jay Fitzgerrel; and his siblings, Patty Jo Leefers and Nolan Fitzgerrel.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Fitzgerrel of Jerseyville, Dawn Fitzgerrel-Lewis of Alabama and Lynzey Fitzgerrel of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Dustin McKinnon of Alabama, Lincoln Fitzgerrel of Jerseyville, Can Dee Michelle Seigler of Champaign and Vivian Sadler of Jerseyville; his great grandchild Ava Seigler of Champaign; his sister Penny; and his brother-in-law John Young of Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
