She is survived by: her children, Thor Short of Fieldon and Breann; her son-in-law Zach Slightom of Brighton; her grandsons, Zachariah and Kason Slightom; and her siblings, Tom Slow (Bertha) of Roodhouse, Sarah Telega of Jerseyville and Bobby Darr of Wisconsin.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
