Robert leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Robert’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Robert will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Gill and Elva "Betty" Gill. He is survived by: his wife Irene Gill (Cuellar); his daughters, Sydney Hannah of Federal Way, WA and Robin Gill (Robert Billy) of Annapolis, MD.; and his brother Ron Gill (Janice) of Dow, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Jerseyville (400 S State St, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Online).
