It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ray of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert V. Ray and Gloria Ray (Wallendorf); and his uncle Dick Gabbett. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Ray of Jerseyville; his daughter Kristy; his son-in-law Todd Wellhausen of Farmersville; his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Joanna Ray of Jerseyville; his grandchildren, Cody Wellhausen of Girard, Macy Wellhausen of Jerseyville, Baylee of Jerseyville, Andrew of Jerseyville, Garrett of Jerseyville and Claire Ray of Jerseyville; his great grandchild Meadow Wellhausen; his sister Lori; his brother-in-law Leon Stone, Jr. of Alton; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Joan Ray of Fieldon.
Memorials may be given to the Jersey Community High School Woods and Auto programs, in care of the funeral home.
