We announce the death of Sharon Devening of Jerseyville, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 87. She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Delbert and Kathleen (Ayres) Lane; husband: Robert E. "Stub" Devening; sisters: Kathy (Charles) Jones and Patsy McNear; brother: Terry (Jill) Lane; sons: Randy; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ruth and Ned Devening; brother: Roger Lane; two sons and a daughter; daughter-in-law; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home (1308 IL-109, Jerseyville, IL 62052). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Fieldon Cemetery (2 Vintage Ln, Fieldon, IL 62031).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to her great-grandchildren's college fund, in care of Crawford Funeral Home.
