With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Davidsmeyer of Jerseyville, Illinois, born in Mozier, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Howdeshell and Rosella Howdeshell (Vinyard); her husband Donald L. Davidsmeyer; her stepfather Sherman; and her siblings, Sherman Kraushaar, Sharon Kay Pruitt and Connie Pruitt.

She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly; her son-in-law James Davis of Jerseyville; her sons, Daniel (Kathy Mager) and Barry (Haley Hartmann); her stepdaughter Debbie (Steve Christison) of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Michelle (Terry Cordes), Marcus (Laura Groppel), Brittany (Joshua Deitner), Aaron Mager of Los Angeles and Sydney Hartmann (Brady Hartmann); and her close friend Gloria McSchooler of Carrollton.

Memorials may be given to Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
