Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Virginia F Brooks (Jerseyville, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 84, on January 12, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Powers and Dorothy Powers (Angel); her sister Linda; her brother-in-law Ronald Brainerd; her niece Joy Brainerd; and her nephew Chip Brainerd.

She is survived by: her daughters, Darla (Randy Drainer) of Grafton and Jane (Stuart "Jim" Renken) of Jerseyville; her grandchildren, Laura, Natalie, Nicole, Parker and Paige; and her niece Rhonda Davidson (Rick) of Delhi. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

Out of respect for everyone's safety, the family requests that all those in attendance wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hamilton Primary School or to her family.
