He was predeceased by: his wives, Barabra Powers (Godar) and Joella Powers (McAdams); his sons, Kenny Powers, Gary Powers and Carl Powers; his sisters, Joyce Scott and Alice Kreftmeyer; and his grandson Jimmy Adair.
He is survived by: his children, David Powers (Davina), Angela Roady (Wes), Jet Pinkerton (Bruce), Holly McAdams and Jolene Adair; and his brother Lewie Miles (Becky). He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Faith Temple United Pentecostal Church.
