He is survived by: his wife Shirley Carrico of Greenup; his children, Cara Dillier and John Wellbaum (Beth Harmon) of Greenup; his grandchildren, Bren Dillier (Leia) of Misawa and Courtney Helmink (Kyle Ruholl) of Effingham; his great grandchildren, Loki, Ares, Oona, Bria Dillier, Carsyn, Ridge Helmink, Aria and Lincoln Ruholl; his siblings, Carl Wellbaum (Vicki) of Jewett, Lenora Quick Swearingen (Bob) of Toledo and Diane Lewis of Greenup; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Wellbaum, Larry Lewis and Carolyn Kerans (Lowell).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jewett Community Church (806 Adams St, Jewett, IL 62436). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Jewett Community Church Building Fund.
