He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Braddock (Jackson); and his parents, Betty Ruth Williams (Garrison) and Willard Braddock. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Newman (Bill Newman) of Wayne City, IL and Camella "Cam" Blevins of Eureka, MO; his grandchildren, Aaron Newman (April Newman) and Kyrstin Saraber (Gerard Saraber); his great grandchildren, Logan Newman and Mackenzie Newman; and his siblings, Sandy Lowery of Evansville, IN and Mike Williams of Newburgh, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home, Inc. (106 NE 4th St, Fairfield, IL 62837). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Johnson & Vaughn Funeral Home (106 NE 4th St, Fairfield, IL 62837). A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Garrison Temple Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to help with funeral expenses and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
