He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Evans and Mary Evans (Lawrence); his siblings, Ardell "Tiny" Evans and Suella Scoles; his siblings-in-law, Calvin Scoles, Mitch Summers and Vicki Summers; and his father-in-law Willis Summers.

He is survived by : his children, Ashley Rogers (Keith) and Alex Evans; his mother-in-law Patricia Summers; his sister-in-law Connie Evans; his grandchildren, Jillian Hermetz (Garrett) and Kobie Tanner; his great grandchildren, Maren Hermetz and Theodore Tanner; and his nieces and nephews, Rheanne Collier, Mary Jo Evans-Brown, William Scoles and Greg Scoles.
