He was predeceased by: his brother Earl "Duke" McNeal; and his parents, LeRoy McNeal and Ruth McNeal. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Jansco McNeal; his daughters, Deborah McNeal Laufer and Mandy McNeal Horn (Kevin Hahn); his stepson John David "JD" Tomlinson II (Tami Tomlinson); his grandchildren, Jagger, Skyler Pirtle, Myles, Mayson, Merick Horn, JD Tomlinson III and Taylor Tomlinson Small; his great grandchildren, Jason James "JJ" Small and Lila Katherine Tomlinson; and his sisters, Anna Ruth Cavitt, Nancy "Roach" Hagans, Judy LaPradd and Linda Forbes.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stardust Golf Course (14756 Stardust Dr, Johnston City, IL 62951).
