He is survived by: his children, Donald Pitchers, Jr. (Stephanie) of Indiana, Tina Pitchers of Johnston City, Kevin Pitchers (Sammra) of West Frankfort, Sean Pitchers of Johnston City and Kelley Pitchers (Don) of Johnston City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
