He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester H. Edwards and Daisy Edwards (Dean); his son Eddie Edwards; his siblings, Ray Edwards, Theodore Edwards and Mae Edwards; and his daughter Connie Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife Modena Edwards of Johnston City; his daughters, Joan Tolbert (Steve) of Marion and Judy Moore of Herrin; his grandchildren, Jared Tolbert of Marion, Rhea Korte of Marion, Carli Marshall of Marion, Lerin Richard (Tommy) of Johnston City, Cort Edwards (Lauren) of Pittsburg and Max Edwards (Cailey) of Pittsburg; his great grandchildren, Kyla Tolbert, Emmalee Wilson (Zachary), Zoey Tolbert, Riley Korte, Sid Lawson (Abigail), Gabe Bishop, Cash Richard, Jamerson Richard, Harlow Richard, Finn Richard, Easton Edwards and Loralei Edwards; his great great grandchild Vera Tolbert (Theodora Lawson); and also Lisa Edwards of Johnston City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the County Line Cemetery.
