He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey A. Evans and Mildred L. Evans (Bohannon); and his sister Olivia Brenner. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Evans of Johnston City; his children, Jacqueline Bledsoe (Mark) of The Villages, FL, John W. Evans (Amy) of Johnston City, Evan E. Evans of Johnston City and Nannette N. Evans of Herrin; his grandchildren, Alex, Catherine, Alec (Courtney), Brayden, Cooper, Ria, Kagney (Grant), Adam and Leryn; his great grandchild Drake; and his brother Harvey A. Evans Jr. (Sharron) of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
