We announce the death of Leslie E. Eisenhauer (Johnston City, Illinois), who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 95. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Eisenhauer and Cora Eisenhauer; and his brothers, Richard Eisenhauer, Perry Eisenhauer and Leon Eisenhauer.
He is survived by: his wife Areta Eisenhauer; his sons, Ron (Dawn Eisenhauer), Steve (Tracy Eisenhauer), Rex (Beth Eisenhauer) and Darren (Missy Eisenhauer); his grandchildren, Leslie (Jeff Burr), Erin (Raymond Kopec), Emily (Erik Perks), Breckyn (Ethan Cross), Ethan Eisenhauer and Halle Eisenhauer; his great grandchildren, Aaron Burr, Beckham Kopec and Ava Perks; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Eisenhauer, Clara Mae Locascio, Glendine Doering and JoAnn Doering. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Murman & Wilson Funeral Home of Johnston City (211 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Johnston City United Methodist Church or the Johnston City Fire Department.
