Mary Ruth Brooks Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on July 15, 2020, at the age of 85, Mary Ruth Brooks (Johnston City, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Boyd and Esther Aileen Boyd (Choate); her husband Harvey Brooks; and her son-in-law Jeri Rae. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Lowery (Connie) of Boles and Debbie McBride (Don); her grandchildren, Jennifer Neikes (Mike), Jasmine LaGore (Brian), Trenton Lowery (Sharmaine), Kasi McBride and Tara Burton; and her brothers, David Boyd (Mae) and Richard Boyd (Aletha). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Southern Illinois Worship Center.
