The passing of Norma Rae Dunfee of Johnston City, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Norma Rae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma Rae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Belt and Mary Belt (Higginson); and her sister Linda Gaye. She is survived by: her sons, Marty Brown of Johnston City and Mike Brown (Dianne) of Johnston City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and two brothers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:00 PM at the Pyle Funeral Home (1008 W Broadway Blvd, Johnston City, IL 62951).
