Aletha Prewitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aletha Prewitt of Joliet, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Eugene and Nellie Ray Watts (Gentry); her husband Bobby Prewitt; and her siblings, Marshall Watts, Donna Bolinger, Andra Wrobolewski and Johnny Ray Watts.
She is survived by: her son Bobby Prewitt, Jr.; her granddaughter Autumn Dempsey; her siblings, Debbie Dempsey (Larry), Thyrra Gillihan (late Ed), Peggy Boyd (Randy), Betty Bartosik, Dean Watts (Margaret) and Bruno Kolb (Consuelo); her siblings-in-law, Sherrie Watts and Bill Bolinger; and her friend Dretta. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Arbie's memory to Gift of Hope.
