She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pounovich and Martha Pounovich; her husband William Karpen; her son Bill; and her siblings, Ann Pesavento (John), George (Joyce), Nick (Jeane), Mike, John (Ann), Martha, Mary Roberts (Alfonso), Jennie Zager (Bill), Rose, Helen, Daniel, Louis (Kay) and Peter (Alice).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Ranzini (Bob), Donna Heckler (Doug) and Janice Rodawold (Rick); her grandchildren, Bryan, Jason, Matthew Heckler (Allie), Stephanie Thuot (Jim), Michael Ranzini (Jill), Ryan Rodawold and Allison Grosse (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Emma Heckler, Meghan, Katie Thuot, Emerson, Vivienne Ranzini and Alaina Ann Grosse. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
