He is survived by: his children, Sarah Hayse-Overbeck, Ancel James Thomas Hayse and Jacob Walter Morgan-Hayse; his sisters, Sharon Morgan, Dorene and Rosellen June Hayse; and his grandchild Bran Overbeck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
