With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Anne R. Schmitz of Joliet, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Beach (Ruddy) and Forrest Beach; and her brother Harry Beach. She is survived by: her husband Charles Schmitz; her children, Carolyn Healy (Michael), Leslie Weck (James) and Kristin McGaffic (Mark); her grandchildren, Patrick Healy (Dee), Sean Healy, Jordan, Amelia and Charlotte McGaffic; her brother James Beach; and her sister-in-law Sandy Schmitz (late Richard).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, IL 60435).
