He is survived by: his wife Virginia Williams; his siblings, Shirley (Randy), Jean, Elizabeth (Bill), Alfred, Jerry (Diane), Jojo (Mary), Walter (Donetta), Gloria (Darryl) and John Jr.; his brother-in-law Melford Humphrey; his children, Marie (Jimmie), Latonya, Arthur Jr., Keenan and Valerie; and his grandchildren, Montell, Arthur III (Ari), Kenneth III, Anthony Denia (Adrienne), Cambrielle, Monika, Deja (Dathan), Ah'Janae, Etwood, Emoni, Kayleigh and Jayden. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St John MB Church (104 E Zarley Blvd, Joliet, IL 60433). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
