She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Crenshaw and Betty Crenshaw; and her parents-in-law, Joanne and Richard "Casey" Thompson. She is survived by : her husband Denny Thompson; her children, Lori Ann Thompson and K. C. Thompson (Renee); her granddaughter Kennedy Thompson; her sister Glenda Wendell (Jim); her niece Chrissy Simmons (Jeremy); and her nephews, Austin, Aiden and Mason. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
