Barbara left this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold T. Booklund and Helen B. Booklund (Wilmette); and her siblings, James Booklund, Patricia Bailey, Sharon Muren, Janet Donnelly, Judith Booklund and Suellyn Booklund.
She is survived by: her sister Kathryn "Kay" Dickinson (late James); and her friends, Jeannie Ruppe, Nola Lara and Cindy Barrowman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
