We bid farewell to Bobby Lumpkins of Joliet, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 15, 2025 at the age of 69. Bobby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lumpkins and Emma Lumpkins. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kurz Lumpkins (Abbs); his children, Ashley Lumpkins (Timothy Arias), Erik Lumpkins, Christopher Kurz (Kevin DeBauche) and Alexandra Kurz; his granddaughters, Olivia Nicole Arias and Aria Grace Arias; his siblings, Clyde Lumpkins, Sheila Lumpkins, Kevin Pippin and Tammy Scheidt (Ed); and his former wife Carol Lumpkins (Simon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431).
