Carol Mae Widlowski Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Mae Widlowski of Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carol Mae Widlowski to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Glad and Evelynn Glad; and her siblings, George Glad (Rose Ann), Bill Glad (Irene), Evelyn Gornick (John) and Marie Fabek (Tom).
She is survived by: her husband Carl Widlowski; her children, Tom, Laura and Jim; her grandchildren, Daniel (Lauren), Lauren (Nick Palermo), Nick, Madeleine and Mitchell; her sisters, Norma Strahanoski (Don) and Doris Warren (Mike); and her aunts and uncles, Marie, Evie, George and Bill. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tezak's Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chapel Funeral Service. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary Nativity Catholic Church (706 N Broadway St, Joliet, IL 60435). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saint Mary Nativity Cemetery (601 Caton Farm Rd, Lockport, IL 60441).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Mary Nativity, Lightways Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
