She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith and Ethel Mae Smith; her husband Joseph Lee Palmer; her parents-in-law, Cecil and Iola Palmer; and her siblings, Joseph Smith, Jr., Charles Smith, Alfred Smith, Juanita Merritt and Augustine Morgan.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Marie (John), Gloria Palmer Dunlap, Charlyn Singleton (Pastor Chuck) and Joseph Eugene Palmer (Eva); her extended family, Iris and Randy Winfrey; her sisters, Evelyn Allene Stanton of Philadelphia, PA and Lillie Williams of Virginia Beach, VA; and her aunt Libelia Lyon (Bea) of Donora, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18½ great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
